Age Limits:
A candidate must have attained the age of twenty one (21) years and must not have attained the age of twenty eight (28) years on crucial date i.e. 1st January 2009. A candidate born earlier than 2nd of January 1981 and later than 1st January 1988 will not be eligible.
Age Relaxation:
The upper age limit will be relaxable by two years up to the age of (30) years for the following category of candidates:
- Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Buddhist community.
- Candidates who are permanent residents of AJK and Northern Areas or belonging to the recognized Tribes of Baluchistan, the Tribal Areas of D.I. Khan and Peshawar Divisions (including the former Frontier States of Dir, Swat, Chitral and Amb), former Tribal Areas of Mardan and Hazara Divisions and Upper Tanawal Area of Hazara Division and former excluded (Baluch) area forming part of D.G. Khan and Rajanpur Districts.
- In the case of in service, Government servants including AJK Government servants who have rendered not less than two years continuous Government Service on crucial date i.e. 1st January 2009
